R’ Mendel Plotkin, a husband and father of 9 from the Chabad community in Toronto, passed away on Shabbos, 6 Iyar, 5782.
He was 43
He is survived by his wife Goldie and
9 children.
Mendel Plotkin was an unstoppable force of good.
Without question or judgement he would expend boundless energy to help another get a job, set up a business, secure a loan or purchase a new home.
He facilitated parnoso and loans for hundreds of people without regard of risking his personal reputation.
How well he knew you, or what nusach you davened did not matter. If he learned you need help, he would step in.
Without warning, this strong and active father of 9 was taken suddenly by cardiac arrest last Shabbos.
This campaign aims to do what he did for so many others. To enable his family to move forward without financial anxiety and worry.
