We are all still in shock and mourning over the tragedy in Meron on the night of Lag B’Omer where 45 precious people lost their lives in the midst of the joyful celebrations at the holy gravesite of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai in Meron.
Their pure souls surely went straight up to Heaven.
But who will care for their families? How many families suddenly find their lives turned upside down in the wake of the tragedy? Several of those who lost their lives were the sole breadwinner for their large families.
The least we can do is to make a major effort to ease their financial strain.
With the encouragement of Harav Sh. Kohn Shlita, Mara D’Asra, and other local Rabonim, a tax deductible fund has been set up to assist these families. Funds raised in Australia will be distributed via Kupat Ha’ir
