Urgent call for supporting Barzilai Medical Center medical care and treatment
Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon was built in 1961 and provides advanced
medical services to a population of approximately 600,000 citizens in peacetime
and emergencies, in a region of Israel that is defined as part of the periphery, in
the city of Ashkelon, its environs and the Gaza Envelope region.
The center has 643 inpatient beds, 60 outpatient beds and provides highly
advanced medical and healthcare to inpatients and through its clinics and
institutes.
