Still in shock, I turn to you with a broken and devastated heart.
Certainly, there is no need to retell the pain and suffering my late husband Reb Alter Odom z”l went through over the past few years.
He was a Tzadik and always strived to get closer to Hashem. He accepted his illness with Simcha and never stopped davening and thanking Hashem.
Alter Odom became a Baal teshuva in his 30s, and we got married when he was 38.
9 years ago we rejoiced B’ezras Hashem together at the birth of our ONLY child, our daughter Chaya Rivke shetichye, and now I am left to bring our daughter up alone as I try to cope with this tragedy.
Alter Odom, where are you ???
I cannot forget his smile. I cannot believe that he is no longer with me!
I cannot believe that I am a widow and our daughter is an orphan!
Please, dear, compassionate brethren, please help me set up a fund for our Chaya Rivke so that she will grow up knowing that her beautiful community cared to help her set up her future b”H.
It is your support that sustains us at this difficult time.
