Brothers and Sisters for Israel
The people of Israel need your support
On Saturday October 7th, 2023, the lives of Israelis changed forever.
Brothers and Sisters for Israel is currently the largest aid organization in Israel.
We are a 100% civilian voluntary based operation, so that every dollar donated goes directly and entirely to the actual goods and services that are needed.
Since the onset of this war, we have been running an unprecedented Civil Emergency Headquarters. Our teams collect requirements both bottoms up as well as tops down, to make sure real needs are met. Accordingly, we mobilise critical resources, including food, water, clothing, medical equipment and aid, provide accommodation for displaced families, evacuate those in war zones, locate missing individuals, procure vital equipment, and much more.
We are committed to leaving no request unanswered.
Help us help our brothers and sisters
Our mission
Brothers and Sisters of Israel is the largest civilian aid organization operating in Israel, entirely powered by volunteers who are former IDF soldiers, ensuring that 100% of funds go directly toward acquiring essential resources and supplies. Our leading efforts include humanitarian support, meals, clothing, and evacuation for those in war zones, accommodation for the displaced, and nationwide logistics centres.
The critical shortages
We urgently seek assistance in five critical areas, both humanitarian and logistical:
- Logistical Shortages: We are facing a severe shortage of medical supplies, clothing, food, and water.
- Hostages and Missing Citizens: Right now, Brothers and Sisters is using the most advanced AI-facial recognition Identification Technology software to identify hostages and missing persons and are working in conjunction with the GSS (Shabak) and the IDF.
- Mental Support for Children and Families: Children and Families who have experienced the trauma of this crisis require psychological support.
- Refugee Families: Right now, Israel has over 200,000 refugees without homes. We are helping families who have been displaced from their homes and need a place to sleep.
Going Forward
We are studying the longer-term needs of the civilian population that have emerged as a result of the war. We are starting to work on longer term projects, including:
- Partnering with local municipalities and authorities to supply their municipal civil guard teams with the necessary training and equipment in areas close to the northern and southern borders.
- Provide for the hundreds of thousands of displaced Israelis currently residing in hotels near the Dead Sea and in Eilat.
- Provision of trauma therapy and mental health support for those affected by the war.
- Education for displaced children and students.
- Provision of volunteers to pick crops and tend to farm animals in areas that have been evacuated close to the Gaza border.
