ABOUT AFIKIM:
Afikim is a non-profit organization, established in 2009, which provides youth at high risk the tools needed to break the cycle of poverty, first and foremost through education.
Afikim’s unique projects are based on a comprehensive and holistic approach which saves not only the child, but his or her family as well. Afikim serves a vital role within Israeli society enabling these children to reach their full potential. Due to rising numbers of children who fall below the poverty line and suffer from either neglect and/or abuse, Afikim’s primary mission is to work with these children and their families, addressing their educational, nutritional and recreational needs.
Afikim serves 600 youth at high risk and their families, and operates 16 educational and welfare centers throughout Israel.

R4A – RUN FOR AFIKIM
R4A is the longest organized charity relay run in the world.
This year will mark the 10th year of this incredible event. Over 100 runners will run from Jerusalem to Eilat to support Afikim.
R4A 2023 will be held from March 22nd – March 24th
Run4Afikim is in memory of our dearest friend and R4A co-founder, Ariel Goldsmith who advocated and believed in Afikim’s youth, giving them the ability to reach their fullest potential.
